Jurong Birdpark is one of the largest and most renowned avian centers in the world. In addition to highly successful and prolific captive breeding programs, it is well known for high-end exhibitry. PJA finalized a Master Plan to take Jurong into the new century with continued excellence. Emphasis has been placed on increasing the “fun-factor” with more hands-on activities. Innovative exhibits proposed include Free-Flight Parrot Aviaries, a Raptor Aviary, an Everglades and Habitats of the World exhibit, as well as the new South America exhibit and renovated Penguin Building.
I hereby declare that I will not hold the Jurong BirdPark responsible or liable for any accident, injury etc. whatever and however caused that may occur to me during my period of service with the Jurong BirdPark. Any first aid or medical treatment provided by the Jurong BirdPark at its expense shall be discretionary and on a compassionate basis only. In no event shall the provision of such first aid or medical treatment tantamount to an admission of liability by the Jurong BirdPark.
Jurong Bird Park, collection of more than 8,000 birds from 600 species, offers visitors an experience that is entertaining as well as educational. The whole family can enjoy the entertaining Birds n Buddies Show and be enthralled by the birds of prey in the King of the Skies show and in the Fuji World of Hawks. The Penguin Parade enclosure, in a re-created Antarctic setting, houses more than 200 penguins of five species. Within the Penguin Parade enclosure, there are some 50 other sea-birds such as the inca terns and puffins.
